PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- U.S. Representatives James Langevin and David Cicilline will be in the Capital City on Thursday for a meet and greet with members of the Rhode Island Young Democrats.
The two Democrats will talk about what issues they are working on during this congressional session, as well as take comments from audience members, according to a Facebook invite.
This month, Langevin introduced legislation that would protect foster children from identity theft and other financial abuses.
Cicilline was among the legislators who signed on a bid to repeal a law that bars federal government recognition of gay and lesbian marriages.
The event takes place at the McCormick and Schmick's restaurant at 11 Dorrance St, in downtown Providence. It starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the private reception room in rear of the restaurant.
