Not happening. By law, his tax and spending plans for the year beginning on July 1 were due last month, but the governor has already asked for and received two extensions from legislative leaders. Spokeswoman Amy Kempe said earlier today: "The budget submission will be delayed to allow the governor to meet with House and Senate leaders to discuss the impact of the federal stimulus law. I do not have a date certain for submission, but should have more information later this week.'' |
