One-time presidential candidate and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee will be in Rhode Island tomorrow night speaking at Brown University. Huckabee, will deliver what Brown is calling "a behind-the-scenes perspective on his primary run and the upcoming Presidential election in a lecture entitled 'The Pursuit of the Presidency and the Perfectly Insane American Process,' " according to a release. The event begins at 8 p.m. in the Salomon Center for Teaching. Tickets are free and open to the public, space-permitting. Brown students were given first priority, so seats may be limited. Doors open at 7:45 p.m. The last time Huckabee visited Rhode Island was back in February when he was still seeking the Republican nomination. CommentsLeave a comment |

Brown University is allowing a conservative Christian into their midst??? I hope that they don't have more green paint ready for another one of those famous RI protests! Or maybe a la RIPTA meetings they'll just try to drown him out because they think no one has anything important to say except those who attend the Ivy Leaque.
On a more serious note, welcome Mr. Huckabee. RI's much too gimmee, gimme to vote GOP but I thought you had a great platform and you had my vote. Anyone that thinks Washington should allow Americans to work for themselves and not babysit for a lifetime understands what the framers of the Constitution really meant.
