The senior senator from Massachusetts cast his ballot just after 10 a.m. today at the Town Hall in Hyannis, a section of the town of Barnstable. He arrived with his wife, Vicki. Kennedy has been in treatment since being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor after he had a seizure in May. On his doctors' advice, he has been working at home and will likely continue to do so through the fall. The big race today involves Kennedy's friend, John Kerry, who's facing his first challenger in the Democratic primary since he was elected 24 years ago. After voting, Kennedy wished for a "strong vote" for Kerry and a good turnout across the state.
