Governor: Lou Dobbs on, again? Bloomberg off

Lou Dobbs wants Governor Carcieri to share his views on immigration with the nation. Again.

Back in April, Rhode Island's Republican governor appeared on Dobbs' nationally-televised CNN program. The governor's office confirmed today that Dobbs wants Carcieri again -- this time for his nationally-broadcast radio show.

The governor's office is trying to arrange a time and date for the appearance. Carcieri spokesman Amy Kempe said that it would not likely be today or tomorrow.

A scheduled television appearance with Bloomberg Television news magazine In Focus, originally scheduled for today, has been postponed, Kempe said, citing "breaking news on Wall Street."

Carcieri had been scheduled to discuss the state's renewable energy program.
