Among those turning out today for a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Portsmouth for the Narragansett Bay Blue Trail -- a water-based trail for kayaks and canoes -- were three members of the R.I. congressional delegation. Posing for a photo are, from left: U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, state Rep. Amy Rice of Portsmouth, and U.S. Sen. Jack Reed. Also of note: Reed, hinted at as a possible running mate for Barack Obama, was in Rhode Island as pundits anticipate an announcement from Obama on his choice.
