CSPAN's "Road to the White House'' bus tour will land in Warwick this Wednesday afternoon.

The bus, a 45-foot mobile studio used in the cable network's coverage of the presidential campaign, will be parked at Warwick City Hall from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian will greet the bus. "We're very pleased to welcome C-Span's campaign 2008 bus to the city of Warwick,'' said Avedisian. "This will give our citizens a unique opportunity to see the effort that goes inbto gathering and reporting political news. It will also provide another educational resource for those interested in the election process, and, particularly in this presidential campaign year.''

The bus is free and open to the public. Since its January 2007 launch, the CSPAN bus has been to 43 state capitols and 134 colleges and universities. More than 40,000 students have visited the bus, as well as four presidential candidates.
