PROVIDENCE -- Things are heating up for the House of Representatives tonight.

So out came the ice cream.

As late afternoon verged on evening, House members embarking on the crazed final day -- and night -- of the legislative session were handed ice cream sandwiches by legislative pages.

Paper is flying around the chamber as bills come and go -- ice cream wrappers too.
