Mike Garcia of Hope High School, Providence; Andrea DeBarros, Shea High School, Pawtucket, and Kevin Manuel, Mount Hope High School, Bristol, are among 30 students statewide who have been spent the week learning about governmental affairs. It's part of the Boys and Girls State program sponsored by the American Legion. Today, they were in the House chamber at the State House voting on various "bills." The House itself will do the same this evening, as the Assembly races to wrap up this week.
