PROVIDENCE -- Actor Kal Penn, who appears on FOX's drama "House," will lead up a "Students for Barack Obama College Tour" -- a tour coming to Rhode Island colleges and universities tomorrow. The goal, according to a campaign news release, is to "highlight Obama’s vision for fundamentally changing Washington to make progress on the toughest issues that face us" and to demonstrate that young people can play a role in that change. Penn last year had a recurring role on "24". He was in the movie Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. He's also an Asian American Studies visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania. The Obama campaign provided this schedule for tomorrow's tour: * University of Rhode Island, 74 Lower College Road, South Kingstown, multicultural center, Hardge Room. Doors open at 10 a.m.; program starts at 10:15. * Rhode Island College, 600 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence, student union, in the café. Doors open at 11:45 a.m.; program starts at 11:55 a.m. * Brown University, 194 Meeting St., Providence, Alumnae Hall, in the Crystal Room . Doors open at 1:15 p.m.; program starrts at 1:30 p.m. * Roger Williams University, One Old Ferry Road, Bristol, new academic building, in the Bayroom.
