U.S. Sen. Jack Reed held a press conference today to talk about his most recent trip to Iraq. Reed, a West Point graduate and a senior member of the Armed Services Committee, traveled in Iraq from Jan. 16-18. It was his 11th trip to the war zone. While on the ground, the Rhode Island Democrat met in Baghdad with Gen. David Petraeus and U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker and traveled around the country with U.S. Special Forces to several different regions, including Balad, Basra, Diyala Province, Fallujah and Ramadi.
