Supporters of Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama drag their message through Elm Street in Manchester, N.H. today.

Will Barack Obama capitalize on his big win in the Iowa caucuses and defeat fellow Democrat Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire?

Will John McCain be able to beat Mitt Romney, former governor of the neighboring state of Massachusetts?

The results of the first-in-the-nation presidential primary should start emerging soon, with some polls closing at 7 p.m. and the rest at 8 o'clock tonight.

Turnout has been described as "very, very good" by the New Hampshire secretary of state, based on reports from the polls. What does that mean?

Choose your method of finding out: Watch the outcome on TV, with a gathering with like-minded pals, or alone online. (The N.H. secretary of state's site will post results after counting is complete, which it is projecting for tomorrow.)

projo.com will carry the latest news on the primary, as well as reports and photos from Journal staffers on the scene today. You can add your reaction, too, on our survey and politics bulletin board.
