Honorary chairs for the event include Clifford R. Montiero, president of the Providence branch of the NAACP; the state police superintendent, Col. Brendan Doherty; University of Rhode Island President Robert L. Carothers; Michael F. Ryan, president of utility giant National Grid’s operations in Rhode Island; Marcia Reback, president of the Rhode Island Federation of Teachers and Health Professionals; and the judge’s sons, state Treasurer Frank T. Caprio and state Rep. David Caprio.

Having watched "Caught in Providence" the self promoting "judge" is a joke. Anyone with a half a brain could do his job, maybe not with the smugness of His Honor. If you don't speak english you get away with virtually no punishment. His decisions appear to be abitrary based on how pretty you are, how dumb you play or if you show up with a baby. Maybe his shouw should be named "Caught in Narragansett" in which the show depicts how a "judge" and lawyer didn't know he needed a building permit to put an addition on his mansion and an additional structure. Judge, you are an embarassment to the black robe you wear.
