President Bush is greeted by Governor Carcieri, a fellow Republican, and his wife, Sue, upon his arrival at Quonset Point this morning. Bush was in Rhode Island to speak to military officials and global leaders gathered at the Naval War College in Newport. But while he was here, he got a glimpse of the Tall Ships in Newport Harbor and also took time to react to the Senate's rejection of a move to limit debate on his immigration proposal.
