Besides all the newly elected senators and representatives, there’s one more new face at the State House.

John Conti started work last month as the policy analyst for the House of Representatives.

Conti, of Cranston, is a 1987 graduate of Rhode Island College. His last job was as project manager for Premier Development, of Providence.

In the $45,985-a-year House position, Conti will report to Majority Leader Gordon D. Fox, D-Providence. Conti’s duties will include constituent affairs, research, special projects, and participating in the oversight of boards and commissions.

Conti succeeds Charles Drago, who left when the legislative session ended in June, and is now the communications manager for the Providence City Council.
