Peter M. Marino, director of policy at the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, has left the business-backed research group to join the public relations firm RDW Group as director of research. Marino will help the firm’s research arm and help its clients interact with government. Marino worked for RIPEC for 11 1/2 years and before that spent three years as a senior budget analyst in the state budget office. He has a bachelor’s degree in public administration and political science from James Madison University and a master’s in public finance from Syracuse University.
